DONATE A BIKE
Unused bike in your garage?
Why not donate it to Bikes for Farmworkers?
-
Niagara farmworkers need bikes to shop, get groceries and access services.
-
Bikes for Farmworkers collects donated bikes, refurbishes them and provides them to farmworkers for a nominal fee.
-
Our refurbished bikes are safe with reflectors, bells, working gears and brakes.
-
More than 500 farmworkers received safe bikes from us since April 2015
HOW TO DONATE A BIKE
You may bring it to St. Alban’s Anglican Church located at 4341 Ontario St. Beamsville, ON on Thursdays from 4:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. during the work season, or call the missioner to make special arrangements. While we appreciate all donations, please do not drop off bikes at other times.
Please donate to help refurbish the donated bikes:
On average it costs more than $35 to refurbish a bike and ensure it has LED front and rear lights, safe tires, sound inner tubes, lubed chain & bearings, working brakes and gears, a bell, and reflectors. Mark your donation “Bikes for Farmworkers” and you have helped to provide transportation to a migrant farmworker. Thank you!
